Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at 11:00 a.m.- Mohawk College Small Business Students will be the first to see a screening of an 8-minute preview of the locally produced feature film 3 days.
Every semester students from Mohawk College Small Business Management department tour local and regional businesses as part of their curriculum. MOE, President of Hamilton based MOE-TION Picture Productions and recipient of Hamilton's 2001 entrepreneur of the year has been hosting Mohawk College business students at his Copps Coliseum. office for the past few years. MOE is a strong supporter of Mohawk's Business Studies workplace tours so when Reid MacWilliam from the department called him up this year MOE saw it as an opportunity to get critical feedback on his recent project - 3 days.
3 days starring Hamilton's own John Savidis, local entrepreneur and 1998 US Open Martial Arts World Champion is also the executive producer and story consultant of the feature film. John Savidis, playing himself, is a world-class kick boxer who gets caught up in a web of betrayal, deceit and swindled by those he trusts most. Co-written by local author Peter Tassi and MOE, President of MOE-TION Picture Productions.
Staff at Mohawk College expect 50 -80 students to tour and meet with MOE at his studio in Copps Coliseum. The students will see an 8-minute preview of the film on Copps videotron. Following the preview the students will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. The feedback from the questionnaire will let MOE and the executive producer John Savidis know what people think about the movie.
